A working meeting took place yesterday morning in the Magistral Palace between the Grand Chancellor of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta, Riccardo Paternò di Montecupo, and the First Lady of the Republic of Ecuador, Lavinia Valbonesi de Noboa.

The long and fruitful diplomatic relationship between the Order of Malta and Ecuador was recalled by the Grand Chancellor during the meeting. Since 1953, when relations were established, several humanitarian projects have been implemented in Ecuador on the joint initiative of the National Association and the Embassy, in coordination with the local community.
